FENDER CLASSIC PLAYER 50s STRATOCASTER Custom Shop Shoreline Gold Strat 39082

Regular price $675
Custom Shop designed Gold Strat.

Description
This is a 2006 Fender 60th Anniversary Classic Player 50s Stratocaster in Shoreline Gold. Designed by Fender's Custom Shop, it has so many features it's hard to list them all. Starts with a soft V maple neck with 9.5" radius, 2-point tremolo, locking Gotoh tuners, and 3 American vintage Strat pickups with custom wiring (see below)--including a killer 4th position for neck/bridge combo. Aged parts, single-ply pickguard and other vintage appointments make for a killer look. The guitar has two good edge chips (see pics) but still looks great from the front. Frets are in great shape. Weight is 7 pounds, 7 ounces. Comes with Fender Deluxe gig bag (I will include an aftermarket hard case instead for an extra $50--USA buyers only!). I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) I may end auction early if it sells elsewhere. Thanks for looking!

Manufacturer Info
Fender's Classic Player '50s Strat, is the result of a collaboration between Fender's world renown Master Builders, and the company's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico, offering Custom Shop features at a modest price. With decades of combined guitar building experience, Fender Custom Shop Master Builders Dennis Galuzka, Gregory Fessler and Chris Fleming were tasked with creating their own "dream list" of specifications for these new Classic Series instruments. No ideas would be off limits, and no feature would be excluded in creating these customized and affordable guitars. What they came up with were features such as the vintage tuners, custom wiring, custom 2-point vintage bridge and 9.5" fingerboard radius on Dennis Galuzka's Classic Player '50s Strat. Guitar Setup
All our setups are done by our in-house trained luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
