You're looking at a 2015 Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster in sunburst finish in excellent playing and cosmetic condition. All electronics perfect. Neck and frets excellent. Still has the plastic on the pickguard (the crease below the pickups is only in the plastic). The Classic Player Jazzmaster is a simple gutiar with excellent sounding pickups. Offset body for a great look and iconic Fender synchronized tremolo. Comes with a Strat-style tremolo bar but no case. Very clean, small mark at neck joint and on edge (see pics). Easily a 9/10. Weight is 8 pounds, 5 ounces. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (See bottom for setup and packing details.) Thanks for looking!

An updated version of an iconic axe. Fenders Classic Player Jazzmaster Special is a modern upgrade of Fender's iconic Jazzmaster model, featuring a re-engineered Adjusto-Matic bridge with screw-in tremolo arm and floating tremolo tailpiece, which has been moved closer to the bridge to increase break angle and sustain. Also featuring a 9.5" fingerboard radius for a comfortable grip and an improved neck pocket with increased back-angle for added stability, and Special Design Hot Jazzmaster neck and bridge pickups for greater definition when wailing your hottest licks and riffs.

Switching:
Just in case you're not familiar with this model, the switching is set up in the vintage fashion, the way the Jazzmaster was originally envisioned by Fender. That means the black slide switch above the pickups when up is in normal or "lead" mode. In lead mode, the white 3-way pickup switch and Volume/Tone knobs down below work just like any normal guitar. The black switch in down position engages the "rhythm" circuit which uses only the neck pickup and the two black controls for volume/tone, and it has a much warmer "jazzy" sound.

Guitar Setup
My setup on guitars includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. I spray out any pots that are noisy. I turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. I don't claim to be a trained luthier, but I'm able to set guitars/basses for a reasonable out-of-box experience and have had very few complaints. If you're looking for the perfect setup on a used guitar, please expect to take it to a trained luthier who is familiar with your individual playing style and preferences. ps: basses get the same setup minus the new strings. Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments).
