Description
This is a 2008 Fender Road Worn Telecaster in a rare TV Yellow (aka Blonde) finish with rare white pickguard. Comes with Fender Deluxe gigbag, factory papers and rare Road Worn leather strap! This was made the first year of the Road Worn series. The Fender shop started to water down their relic work after about 2010. Many of the newer Road Worn guitars have much lighter relic wear. Personally I love the way Fender was doing it 10 years ago. Look at all the bumps, dings, edge wear, etc, this baby has. All hardware is burnished with a patina of wear. Fretboard has cool aged look. Back of neck worn satin smooth. This is very close to being Fender Custom Shop quality. 

"THESE ROAD WORN SERIES ARE NOT ALL CREATED EQUAL." I've owned about 50 Road Worn guitars and some just have much better relic jobs than others. Don't go for the new 2019 ones on eBay. They just post stock photos and you won't know what the relic looks like till it gets to your front door. Trust me--some of these come with almost no relicing. Great thing about these relics is that with all the wear, they still play sweet. The electronics, neck, and frets on this are in great condition. Guitar Setup
My setup on guitars includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. I spray out any pots that are noisy. I turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. I don't claim to be a trained luthier, but I'm able to set guitars/basses for a reasonable out-of-box experience and have had very few complaints. If you're looking for the perfect setup on a used guitar, please expect to take it to a trained luthier who is familiar with your individual playing style and preferences. ps: basses get the same setup minus the new strings. Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments).
