Fender 1993 Stu Hamm Urge 32 Inch MEDIUM SCALE Active SIGNATURE BASS Red 32069
You're looking at a 1993 Fender Stu Hamm Urge bass from the early days of Fender Mexico production, when they were making some really nice instruments. This 32-inch medium scale bass is very light (7 pounds, 6 ounces). Medium scale basses are hard to find and are a very comfortable size. Comes with two active Jazz pickups. The two stack pole knobs are Volume/Pan and Bass/Treble. The two-octave 24-fret neck has a deep lower cutaway making it very comfortable to play high on the neck.
For a 28-year-old bass it's in excellent condition. Has a couple small edge marks and minor scuff on back but still looks great. Frets are in excellent shape. Really lightweight and excellent playing bass with a huge sound. These have a Kubicki preamp, which is the same one in the $2000+ USA Stu Hamm bass. You can get a lot of sounds from the active EQ. No case. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking!

All our setups are done by our in-house trained luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
This is the Urge Standard with 32” scale length. It has two standard Jazz Bass pickups and active circuitry with dual concentric volume and tone for each pickup. Produced by Fender only from 1993-1999, the Stu Hamm Urge Standard Bass is no longer available. This lightweight bass has a Poplar body, Rosewood fretboard, two Jazz-style pickups, with the stack controls being Master Volume/Pickup Pan Pot, Bass/Treble Boost/Cut and active electronics. The contoured body is just slightly smaller than a Strat body, with the treble side cutaway allowing full access to the 24th fret. Features include a bolt-on special profile Maple neck, 24 fret(2 octave) Rosewood fretboard with a 9.5 inch radius, 32 inch scale, short 3-ply black pickguard, and original open-back 'Licensed by Schaller' tuners. The demand for this bass because of its unique features is very high.
