Fender 1st Year 2001 Tom Delonge Stratocaster +Bag/Tags/New Parts Clean! 62540

This is a 2001 Fender Tom Delonge Stratocaster in black finish. Early, first year of production for this model. These hardtail Strats are known for having a Seymour Duncan Invader humbucker and single volume control. It excels at fat distortion and chunky rhythm playing. Comes with:

— Fender factory gig bag

— Sealed paperwork, including hangtags, wrenches and Desiccant

— Brand new Duncan Invader and pickguard

This guitar is in very clean condition. Previous owner had put a black Invader in it, so I replaced it with the stock white version. Just peeled the plastic off the pickguard and put it on with shiny new screws. You will have no pick marks or yellowing of your guard like you see on most. The pickup sounds fat and new with no loss of output from 20 years of playing.

This is a 22-year-vintage guitar and yet it only has a few extremely mild marks on it (see pics). Frets are in excellent condition with only minimal flattening. I have just spent two hours going through entire guitar—polishing each saddle, tuner, and fret; cleaning and oiling the fretboard; spraying out the CTS pot, cleaning the jack. Then gave it a full setup with D’Addario 10s and set intonation. Basically, it’s looking and playing awesome.

Guitar Setup Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
