You're looking at a 2017 Fender Classic Series 50s Road Worn Stratocaster in Sunburst finish. It is in excellent condition. No wear beyond the intentional factory relic to be seen. Fender actually did a nice job on these medium relic guitars. All faded and yellowed plastics and pickguard. Tasteful wear showing the wood under the finish in appropriate places, such as tummy cut, armrest, etc. All hardware worn to a nice dull glow. Though worn, it plays and sounds amazing. Tex Mex pickups sound great. Attention to detail is pretty amazing for a guitar in this price range. Detailed relic work usually costs a lot more than this. Back of neck nicely worn for a faster satin feel. I relic guitars myself and I don't know how they offer this guitar at this price point. Not to mention, it plays better than most Strats I've had come through my shop lately. If you like your guitars to feel like a nicely worn pair of blue jeans, this might be the one for you. Comes with gig bag and tremolo bar. Weight is 7 pounds, 6 ounces. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking!

Those who prize older instruments with the battered look of years on the road and the scars of countless gigs can still have that authentically aged vibe without spending decades on the road themselves. The irresistibly cool look of finish worn through to the wood, rusted hardware, a bruised neck and yellowing plastic parts are yours right away with Road Worn instruments. The Road Worn '50s Stratocaster sounds, looks and feels like it's been there and back, has more than a few miles on it, and then some. With authentic 1950s styling aged to impart a lifetime of wear and tear that has somehow made it get even better, it's a must-have for the Strat player who appreciates broken-in look and vibe.
1950s style with aged/worn body, neck, finish and hardware touches
Maple neck with '50s-era "soft V" profile
7.25"-radius maple fingerboard with 21 narrow jumbo frets
Tex-Mex™ single-coil pickups with modern five-way switching
Vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge

My setup on guitars includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. I spray out any pots that are noisy. I turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. I don't claim to be a trained luthier, but I'm able to set guitars/basses for a reasonable out-of-box experience and have had very few complaints. If you're looking for the perfect setup on a used guitar, please expect to take it to a trained luthier who is familiar with your individual playing style and preferences. ps: basses get the same setup minus the new strings. Thanks!
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
