Fender 60s Road Worn Jazz Bass Olympic White 60th Anni 2020 Stackpole! 00267
Description (more pics below)
This is a 2020 Fender Road Worn Jazz Bass, 60th Anniversary Edition in the iconic Olympic White finish. These basses are a true throwback with the "stackpole" knobs (Vol/Tone), reverse wind tuners, and vintage threaded saddles. Other features:
— Nitro finished alder body w/ maple neck
— C-shape, 9.5” radius slim J neck w/ Pau Ferro board
— Matching headstock & 60th Anni engraved neck plate
These are just really cool looking basses with wear showing in all the right places! Weight is 8 pounds, 14 ounces. Frets are completely clean, has hardly been played. No case. Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing. Thanks for looking!
What You Get
-- Full setup, cleaning, and new strings.
-- FREE USA shipping.
-- 30-day return policy.
-- Ship within 1 business day--pro packing.
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
Two '60s Jazz Bass single-coil pickups
Mid-'60s C-shaped maple neck; 9.5" radius fingerboard with 20 vintage-style frets
4-saddle bridge with threaded saddles; reverse open-gear tuning machines
Road Worn lacquer finish
The P Bass set bass players free from the upright bass, but the introduction of the new FenderJazz bass in 1960 took electric bass tone, style and ease of playing even further. The 60th Anniversary Road Worn Jazz Bass is a tribute to those first "J basses," with a slim, 1.5" neck, a pair of single-coil pickups, and stacked knobs—just like the originals.
The Road Worn nitrocellulose lacquer finish (and matching headstock) isn't just a testament to 60 years of trend-setting performance; it also means this bass will continue to sound better and better as it ages. And the slim, satin-finished neck will be easy to play every time you plug in.
