FENDER 72 Surf Green PAWN SHOP Stratocaster Telecaster f-Hole Japan MIJ 3101

Regular price $750
Fender 72 Pawnshop. Strat body married to a Tele neck. Semi-hollow design. A real gem!
A Fender 72 Pawn Shop guitar in excellent condition, made in Japan, in rare Surf Green finish. Great idea to join a Stratocaster body with a Telecaster neck and why not make it a semi-hollow design with an F-hole while you're at it? So many cool features: from the 3-bolt neck and "F" neck plate, two mis-matched pickups, single volume and pickup blend knob, mint green pickguard--it's a winner. The guitar is very clean. No dings or scratches. Light and easy to play. Weight is just under 8 pounds. I just set this up with new strings and set intonation. It's ready to play and enjoy. No case. Thanks for looking.

The new Pawn Shop series instruments draw inspiration from strange and storied pawn shop finds of the 1960s and ’70s, and emerge as all-new Fender guitars with a bold element of eccentricity—guitars that never were but could have been.

The Pawn Shop Fender ’72 has a semi-hollow Stratocaster® body with an f-hole, a Telecaster® style neck, two humbucking pickups, and dual-knob chrome control plate with master volume and pickup blend-a creative alchemy of diverse Fender components.

Features include a rosewood fretboard with modern 9.5” radius and 6105 frets, a Fender Wide Range humbucking neck pickup and Fender Enforcer™ humbucking bridge pickup, ’70s-style hard-tail Stratocaster bridge, ’70s-style Fender “F” tuners, mint green pickguard, bullet truss rod, three-bolt neck attachment and deluxe gig bag.
