FENDER BASS VI Pawn Shop Sunburst Clean! Baritone Guitar + Bag & Papers 33879
Fender Bass VI, kinda rare and very different guitar. Tuned an octave lower for epic bottom end.
This is a 2013 Fender Pawn ShopBass VI in Sunburst, made in Mexico. This bass is in excellent playing and cosmetic condition. Almost looks new. Plastic still on pickguard. No dings or scratches. Comes with Fender Deluxe gigbag, tremolo bar, and paperwork. These were made for a limited time and are modeled after a bass Fender made in the 60s. It has six strings tuned an octave lower than a standard guitar, thus all your standard guitar chord shapes work just fine. Has a floating tremolo, 30" scale, and C-shaped maple neck. The offset body has style to spare. The Bass VI also has the distinction of being the guitar owned by Nigel Tufnel in This Is Spinal Tap, which he keeps in perfect condition by not letting anyone touch, look at, or even talk about. Weight is 9 pounds, 6 ounces. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing--the strings on this are a special gauge, so I'm leaving the ones it has on there.) Thanks for looking.

The Pawn Shop Bass VI marks the revamped return of a historic Fender instrument, the seldom-seen Fender Bass Guitar (also known as the Bass VI) of 1961-1975. This updated version of the baritone classic features the traditional short scale (30") and is armed with Special Design Hot Jaguar single-coil neck and middle pickups and a powerful JZHB humbucking bridge pickup.
Other features include a "C"-shaped maple neck with 9.5"-radius rosewood fingerboard and 21 medium jumbo frets, five-way pickup switching, four-ply tortoiseshell pickguard (Three-color Sunburst and Black models) and three-ply parchment pickguard (Candy Apple Red model), two Jazz Bass control knobs (volume, tone), vintage-style adjustable six-saddle bridge with "floating" tremolo tailpiece, and vintage-style tuners.

My setup on guitars includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. I spray out any pots that are noisy. I turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. I don't claim to be a trained luthier, but I'm able to set guitars/basses for a reasonable out-of-box experience and have had very few complaints. If you're looking for the perfect setup on a used guitar, please expect to take it to a trained luthier who is familiar with your individual playing style and preferences. ps: basses get the same setup minus the new strings. Thanks!
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
