Fender HEAVY Relic CLASSIC SERIES 60s STRATOCASTER Road Worn White Strat 06667

Regular price $899
Description
You're looking at a 2016 Fender Classic Series 60s Road Worn Stratocaster in white finish. Not sure if previous owner did a little extra relicing to their Road Worn, or if a Fender employee just went nuts, but it's way more worn than most you see. Lots of paint missing to make it look like it's been loved for years. Some really cool marks around the bottom edge. Makes it look like someone sat it on its edge for years and it got worn away. Back of neck nicely worn down to wood for a faster satin feel. Comes with a kinda rare mini-tremolo bar like the kind David Gilmour uses. Saddles have been upgraded to graphite. Plays and sounds great. Weight is 7 pounds, 3 ounces. No case. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) (stocking below not included) Thanks for looking!

AGED TO PERFECTION
Those who prize older instruments with the battered look of years on the road and the scars of countless gigs can still have that authentically aged vibe without spending decades on the road themselves. The irresistibly cool look of finish worn through to the wood, rusted hardware, a bruised neck and yellowing plastic parts are yours right away with Road Worn instruments. The Road Worn '60s Stratocaster sounds, looks and feels like it's been there and back, has more than a few miles on it, and then some. With authentic 1960s styling aged to impart a lifetime of wear and tear that has somehow made it get even better, it's a must-have for the Strat player who appreciates broken-in look and vibe.

Guitar Setup
All our setups are done by our in-house trained luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
