GIBSON SG SPECIAL 60s TRIBUTE WORN WHITE Satin Dual P90s +Bag Super Clean! 10678

Regular price $950
60s Tribute SG in a classic white finish. Two P90! Thin nitrocellulose finish to let the tone come through.

This is a 2011 Gibson SG 60s Tribute in satin worn antique white finish. Comes with Gibson gigbag, paperwork, a new Planet Waves strap, and some Fast Fret. All about tone with the two Alnico magnet P90 pickups on the all mahogany body and neck. Small SG pickguard. Slim taper 60s neck. The thin satin finish won't choke your tone. Thin, light body weighs in at a very trim 7 pounds, 3 ounces. Great condition. Looks hardly played. Frets and neck are perfect. Not a ding or scratch on it. Already rare. They only made them for a year and people are holding them--for good reason. Really great guitars only going to increase in value. Comes with Gibson gigbag and factory paperwork. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking.

Manufacturer Info

What do Pete Townshend, Carlos Santana, and Tony Iommi all have in common? Back in the '60s, each of these legendary guitarists played a Gibson SG Special with P-90 pickups. The SG Special '60s Tribute is based around the same revered tonewoods, glued-in neck, and Alnico-magnet P-90 pickups that made its predecessor legendary, with the same SlimTaper™ '60s neck profile that is behind some of the fastest-playing guitars in history.

Guitar Setup
All our setups are done by our in-house trained luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
