Here is what I've found to be the absolute best way to defeat those horrible buzzy, scratchy guitar jacks. As I say in the video, I find that 90% of the time it's the sleeve portion of the jack that gets dirty and corroded and causes this.

Today we do a little 10-minute demo on minor scratch removal. These techniques, while used on a clear gloss headstock, can also work on a painted body. Just remember to start on a small section (if possible less visible) and err on the side of a higher grit. If you find it does not remove the scratches you're trying to get rid of, you can then try a lower grit. (read more on Youtube page.)
