DescriptionThis is a 2016 Fender Classic Series '50s Stratocaster in the very desirable Surf Green finish. This guitar is in excellent playing and cosmetic condition. Beautiful amber tinted maple neck with the very distinctive V-shape, which you’ll notice most behind the nut and first fret. Feels great in the hands.
Has vintage appointments like single-ply white pickguard, tinted neck, aged plastics, and vintage-style bridge and tuners. Cosmetically, it's super clean--call it 9.5/10. Pickguard has some scuffs but no dings or scratches (see pics). Frets in great condition. Weight is 7 pounds, 12 ounces. No case or tremolo bar. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. PS: If you're looking at Fender's new "50s" guitar the Vintera model--it is nothing like these Classic Series. The Vintera has no V neck. It's a modern 9.5" radius neck, and has a 2-point trem--it's hardly a "vintage" guitar.

Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
