Epiphone Brendon Small Ghosthorse Explorer + Case 20020
Description
This is a 2020 Epiphone Brendon Small Ghosthorse that comes with its original case. It's in very clean condition. I got this planning to sell it for around $1300. However, I found it has a paint crack on the back of the neck (see pics). This is not a deep or structural crack. You cannot get anything to "move" when you put pressure on the neck. The guitar plays and fuctions great. It's just got a cosmetic defect, so I'm selling for a lot less. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. Coil-tap switches expand the Ghosthorse’s tonal offerings
To put his own twist on the original Gibson Explorer design, Brendon Small equipped the Ghosthorse Explorer with two push/pull volume knobs for coil-splitting the BurstBuckers. Keep it chunky with the ‘buckers for rhythm playing, then flip over to single-coils for stinging leads. The added tonal flexibility makes the Ghosthorse Explorer an excellent stage guitar, letting you switch up your sound in an instant!
Smooth and fast 1960s SlimTaper “D” Neck Profile
Introduced in the 1960s, the SlimTaper “D” profile neck was speedier than its 1950s predecessor but still had enough heft for comfortable chording. The Ghosthorse Explorers’s mahogany neck features this satisfying profile, and it’s capped with a bound ebony fingerboard, 24 jumbo frets, and a Galaktikon-inspired spaceship inlay at the twelfth fret.
