Gallien-Krueger 250ML Vintage 80s Small Lunchbox Amp GK 250 ML Series II 67481
Description
This is a classic Gallien-Krueger 250ML vintage 80s combo amp, made famous by Rush's Alex Lifeson. It is in good condition and all functions work, including all buttons and knobs. I didn't know what all the hoopla was about these till I got one and plugged it in. Really, really cool sounds from this tiny, lightweight amp. I can see why guys plug them into large cabs and use it for their main sound.
Very exacting EQ, so you can warm it up if you want. Sounds great with the onboard Chorus and Echo (chorus is a true stereo chorus like on a Roland Jazz Chorus amp). It has two channels, so you can do a clean and dirty sound (switch channels on front of amp or with footswitch--not included). Has a compressor, headphone out, direct out and effects loop. Cosmetically, this has gotten lots of use, so there are scuffs in the paint, etc. This could really be spruced up with a little black paint or even a good Sharpie, but I am leaving it as-is for future owner to decide.
