FENDER LONE STAR STRATOCASTER Sherwood Green +Locking Tuners & Bag Strat 08655
Description
This is a 2016 Fender Lone Star Stratocaster, made in Mexico in the very distinctive Sherwood Green finish. Excellent playing and cosmetic condition. Has a couple upgrades: graphite saddles to prevent string breakage and some nice Hipshot Grip Lock 18:1 locking tuners. (Note on pictures: you'll see some reflections on the body that might look like marks--it is just reflections on this mirror like finish.) These have a C-shaped neck with 9.5" radius. Twin Head humbucker in the bridge, plus two Texas Special single coils, with some great pickup combinations. Position 2 combines the humbucker with the middle pickup for some thick tone. Plus there's an S-1 switch on board to add a bunch more tonal possibilities. Cosmetically very clean except for a couple very tiny edge marks noted in close up pics. Comes with gig bag but no tremolo bar. Weight is 7 pounds, 12 ounces. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Guitar Setup
All our setups are done by our in-house trained luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
