Description
This is a killer 2018 Fender Jimi Hendrix Stratocaster in the Limited Edition Ultraviolet Purple finish (see all pics below). Guitar still has the plastic on the pickguard and back tremolo cover. Comes with new Fender Deluxe gig bag and all original paperwork including hangtag and tremolo bar in sealed plastic bag. Guitar was only played for demo purposes and has no dings or scratches. Please note this is the true Hendrix Estate-approved Hendrix Strat with Jimi's signature on the heardstock and silk screened image on the neck plate. Fender has recently released a watered down version without these things that basically looks like a standard Strat except for the flipped headstock. Don't be fooled into buying that version. In addition, this has a head-turning purple finish that looks amazing. With an American vintage pickup, this thing sounds and plays amazing. The reversed headstock and bridge pickup really does make for a different kind of Strat. Weight is 7 pounds, 14 ounces. A Strat to Sound Like Jimi!
Fender's Jimi Hendrix Stratocaster offers features of his flipped-over guitars in a great-playing instrument for today's Hendrix devotees. The reverse neck and headstock not only nail the look of Jimi's famed Strats but flips the string length of the lower strings for more power and easier bending of the higher strings. The reverse bridge pickup adds a unique vibe to your tones, with a tight, warm sound. And modern features such as a 9.5" fretboard radius and C-shape neck offer effortless playability.
Guitar Setup
All our setups are done by our in-house trained luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
