Fender Meteora Alternate Reality HH Lake Placid Blue 29844
This is a 2019 Fender Alternate Reality Meteora in Lake Placid Blue finish. It is in excellent cosmetic and playing condition. These are some of the most distinctive looking guitars put out by Fender recently. The offset body with the distinctive swoosh style pickguard, as well as slanted string-thru body outlets--really cool looks!
Dual humbuckers are the power under the hood. Controls include Bridge Volume, Neck Volume and Master Tone. You can pull out the Tone knob to split the coils of both pickups--and there is a black button that allows you to switch the Bridge/Neck Volume controls in case you want easier access to either one. It has a C-shaped, 9.5-inch radius maple neck with a Pau Ferro fingerboard. No dings or scratches. Frets are in A+ condition. It looks hardly played. Still has the original plastic on the pickguard. Weight is 7 pounds, 5 ounces. No case. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking!
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
Motion meets balance with a touch of elegance with the Meteora HH, which sports a sleek body shape that carries on Fender's tradition of arresting aesthetic design. The sound is as propulsive as its visually stimulating lines—it wants to roar on stage, thanks to the two fat-sounding Player Series humbucking pickups. With its retro-modern offset body shape, the Meteora HH has guts and grace and is distinctively Fender.
