FENDER TELECASTER 50s FSR p90 Tele Lake Placid Blue USA PU Clean! +HSC 23192

Regular price $899

Description
This is a super rare 2017 Fender 50s FSR Ash Telecaster P90 in Lake Placid Blue finish. It is in near mint condition with no dings or scratches. Has been played so there is some light scuffing on the pickguard. Frets are totally clean condition. They made very few of these, so very hard to find.

These come with an American Vintage '58 bridge pickup and P90 in the neck. Vintage 7.25" radius neck and thin frets. The American ashtray bridge with barrel saddles and vintage tuners add to the vintage vibe. You will not find another Fender production Tele like this. Comes with aftermarket hard case. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) I may end auction early if it sells elsewhere. Thanks for looking!

Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.

The Fender FSR Limited Edition 50s Telecaster MN is equipped with a duo of American vintage '58 Tele pickups, delivering a full host of vintage tones that Fender fans will love. Its classic Telecaster body shape is crafted from ash, offering a lightweight guitar with sweet, airy tones. Players will love the bolt-on maple neck, with a C shape profile that provides comfort and fluid hand flexibility across the whole fingerboard. With all these great features and vintage tone, this limited edition guitar is perfect for players seeking a classic tone and eye-catching look.

Ash Body
The Fender FSR Limited Edition 50s Telecaster MN features an ash wood body, delivering a classic Fender twang with sweet, airy tones. Ash is incredibly lightweight, allowing you to play without feeling the weight of the guitar. The tonewood provides the guitar with excellent resonance and sustain, offering firm lows, pleasing highs, and a scooped midrange. The Fender is then finished off with knurled flat top control knobs, a shell pickguard, chrome hardware and a Lake Placid Blue finish, creating a classic look that Fender fans will love.

Maple Neck & Fingerboard
The signature Telecaster is fitted with a beautiful maple neck and fingerboard, providing the guitar with a lusciously bright tonal character while tightening up the overall tone and delivering plenty of cut. The tonewood is perfect for a wide range of playing styles, delivering a powerfully sharp punch with excellent clarity when the strings are hit hard. Medium to light picking brings out the subtler tonal characteristics of the maple, providing the guitar with a lavish undertone of depth and crispness. Crafted both neck and fingerboard from maple helps improve the Tele’s sound by adding a slight sizzle to the high end while keeping the lows firm and mids snappy.

American Vintage ’58 Tele Pickups
The guitar boasts Fender’s American Vintage '58 Tele single-coil in the bridge and a P-90 at the neck, designed to offer classic tones with modern reliability and durability. Wound to precise specifications for authentic, traditional Fender tone and performance, the Vintage pickup offers bright tones with enhanced dynamics thanks to its alnico 5 magnets. The bridge pickup is designed with staggered pole pieces to ensure volume balance across each string, allowing the guitar to produce clear, light tones with an upper-end edge. The neck pickup provides sweet tones with excellent clarity, perfect for strumming and chords.

Resonant Synthetic Bone Nut
Featuring a carefully fitted synthetic bone nut, the signature guitar delivers an increased resonance and bright tonality. When compared to traditional plastic and Tusq materials used to construct guitar nuts, synthetic bone improves the vibration transfer between the string and tuning machines without dampening the tone.

Limited Edition Series by Fender
Each Limited Edition guitar is only available for a short time, which makes it eminently collectible while also adding to its investment value. Crafted with many features normally reserved only for select artists and master-built instruments, these guitars are exactly what their name says - highly anticipated limited edition models.

The History of the Telecaster
The rich history of Fender guitars begins with the Telecaster. An indispensable instrument, the Telecaster was the world's first successful solid-body electric guitar. Perfected after two years of development - and a name change or two - the Telecaster debuted in February 1951 and began its steady ascent towards the stage and studio. Ingeniously engineered with the ability to be heard both loud and clear, it was a marvel of simple design elegance and workhorse functionality. It is perhaps a fitting testimony to its essential original rightness that the Telecaster design has hardly changed ever since.
