GIBSON LES PAUL 70s Tribute GoldTop Real RELIC Upgraded Mini Humbucker PUs 21479

Regular price $1,499
Description
You're looking at a beautiful 2012 Gibson Les Paul 70s Tribute Goldtop that shows some really cool relic wear. Look at the pics and you'll see it's got some extensive checking on the body, and the gold paint is starting to chip along the edges just like you see on those vintage Gibsons from the old days. ALSO, the pickups have been upgraded to BHK mini-humbuckers, and they sound amazing!

Sports a mahogany body, solid carved maple top, and maple neck with volute and baked maple fretboard. The 12-inch radius neck has what Gibson calls "a unique 70s thin-to-thick profile." It's basically a 60s Slim up by the nut and chunkier like a 50s rounded profile higher up on the neck.

This is a real relic nicely worn by playing. The frets are still in excellent condition and it plays like a dream. Why buy one new and spend 10 years hoping it will someday look this cool? This one is ready to go. Action low, set up and ready to play. It has "traditional weight relief" but is still pretty solid at 9 pounds, 2 ounces. No case. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing and specs at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking!

Note: Finish checking is extensive and super cool on the top. You don't see it much looking straight on. I tried to take several pics at an angle so you can really see it.

The Les Paul Studio '70s Tribute looks great with a grain-textured satin nitrocellulose lacquer. The single cutaway body has a mahogany base with carved maple top. Maple neck is equipped with unique `70s contour and a classic mortise & tenon joint. Fingerboard is made of baked maple. Neck has 12" radius and 1.695" wide corian nut.
