This is a Line 6 James Tyler JTV-89 in Blood Red finish in excellent cosmetic and playing condition. It comes with:
-- Original Line 6 gig bag
-- Factory charger and battery
-- Original owner's manual.
-- Line 6 USB interface to connect to Workbench software + cables
-- Ernie Ball red strap

The guitar itself is in great condition. Frets and neck are clean. No dings or scratches. Has been played but is an easy 9/10 condition. The modeling on these is really killer. Pretty sweet to be able to get altered tunings with the turn of a knob. Also, the USB interface included will let you hook the Variax up to the free Workbench software to further tweak sounds. Here's a description of what it does:

Build your own custom guitar at home on your PC or Mac®! Variax® Workbench gives you your own personal guitar custom shop with all the tools needed to easily create, store, and share the guitar you've been dreaming of.

Variax Workbench allows you to completely customize Variax Electric 300, 500, 600, and 700. Now you have the tools to easily create and store the guitars you've always wanted. Select from a complete list of guitar bodies, choose pickups and placement, and tweak other parameters to design guitar models that are truly unique.

This combination USB interface and software application allows you to see and hear the physical changes as you apply them to your custom guitar. You can even add alternate tunings. Once you've created your custom guitars, model patches can be stored in the included "Tone Locker," downloaded into any of the 60 available positions on your Variax.

Guitar is in great condition, set up and ready to rock. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking.

Guitar Setup
My setup on guitars includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. I spray out any pots that are noisy. I turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. I don't claim to be a trained luthier, but I'm able to set guitars/basses for a reasonable out-of-box experience and have had very few complaints. If you're looking for the perfect setup on a used guitar, please expect to take it to a trained luthier who is familiar with your individual playing style and preferences. ps: basses get the same setup minus the new strings. Thanks!

I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
